Job Description- Tool cost calculation for plastic, rubber, stamping and aluminum die casting parts and negotiation with suppliers,
- Assessment of tool concepts and tool makers,
- Definition and implementation of an optimized (cost, technology) tool sourcing strategy,
- Collaboration with product development for a tool optimized (cost, technology) design.
- University degree in mechanical engineering (or similar),
- Practical knowledge and real life (tool shop) experience in tooling design, construction, testing, modifications and reparations,
- Experience in tool cost calculation,
- Excellent personal communication skills, experience in working with suppliers.
- English fluent in speech and writing,
- Flexibility for travel, also international,
- Proficiency in MS Office and CAD systems,
- Familiarity with Costing software will be an asset.
