Job Profile Summary

The Treasury Management Sales Associate II (TMSA II) is an experienced member of the Treasury Management Sales Support team responsible for partnering with Treasury Management Officers (TMOs) to support client and prospect opportunities and advance the sales process.

The TMSA II provides sales, pricing, analytical, and portfolio support throughout the deal lifecycle, including opportunity preparation, client and industry research, pricing analysis and modeling, proposal support, and coordination of sales-related requests.

This role requires strong Treasury Management knowledge, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities while partnering across Sales, Pricing, Product, Operations, and other internal teams. The TMSA II serves as a trusted sales partner, helping improve deal readiness, accelerate execution, identify revenue opportunities, and deliver a consistent client experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner with assigned TMOs to support client and prospect opportunities throughout the sales process, independently managing deal preparation, research, analysis, and sales-support activities with limited supervision.
  • Conduct client, prospect, portfolio, and industry research to support sales strategy, relationship reviews, opportunity identification, and cross-sell opportunities, applying Treasury Management knowledge and sound judgment to provide meaningful insights.
  • Develop and support pricing models, proformas, profitability analyses, and non-standard pricing requests, including more complex requests and coordination with Pricing Desk and other approval partners.
  • Prepare and coordinate client-facing materials, proposals, and RFP support, anticipating deal-team needs and ensuring information is accurate, complete, and aligned with the overall sales strategy.
  • Manage assigned sales-support requests from intake through completion, proactively resolving incomplete information, coordinating dependencies, monitoring progress, and communicating status, risks, and next steps.
  • Collaborate across Sales, Relationship Management, Pricing, Product, Operations, Client Care, and other internal partners to resolve issues, support effective deal execution, and deliver a consistent client experience.
  • Exercise independent judgment and ownership in managing priorities and resolving issues, escalating complex, time-sensitive, or higher-risk matters when appropriate.
  • Serve as a knowledge resource to less-experienced Sales Associates, sharing best practices and process guidance while contributing to process improvements and standardization that strengthen sales effectiveness and the overall TMSA support model.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience in Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, Commercial Payments, banking sales support, or financial services.
  • Working knowledge of Treasury Management products and services, pricing concepts, and the commercial sales process.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to interpret client, pricing, and financial information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, manage multiple priorities, and drive requests through completion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn Treasury Management pricing, account-analysis, CRM, and workflow systems.
