Job Summary
The Timekeeper Coordinator II will be responsible for accurately collecting, verifying, and processing employee time and attendance data for Primoris Energy Services in Hubbard, Texas. This role ensures timely and accurate payroll processing and adherence to company policies and labor laws.
Job Responsibilities
* Collect and review timesheets, timecards, and other time-related documents for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization.
* Verify employee hours worked, including regular time, overtime, and leave, against schedules and company policies.
* Enter, update, and maintain employee time and attendance data in the designated payroll or timekeeping system.
* Identify and resolve discrepancies or missing information in time records by collaborating with employees, supervisors, and project management.
* Process payroll adjustments, corrections, and special payments as required.
* Generate and distribute timekeeping reports for management review and approval.
* Assist with the setup and maintenance of employee profiles, pay rates, and job codes within the timekeeping system.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and union agreements related to timekeeping and payroll.
* Provide training and support to employees and supervisors on timekeeping procedures and system usage.
* Maintain confidentiality of all payroll and employee information.
* Participate in month-end and year-end close activities related to timekeeping.
* Support internal and external audits by providing requested timekeeping documentation.
Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in business, accounting, or a related field preferred.
* 2-4 years of experience in timekeeping, payroll, or a related administrative role, preferably within the energy or construction industry.
* Proficient in timekeeping software and payroll systems (e.g., JD Edwards, SAP, ADP, UKG/Kronos).
* Strong understanding of payroll processes, labor laws, and overtime regulations.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
