* Assist in the administration of leave requests (e.g., vacation, sick leave, FMLA) and ensure proper documentation and system entry.
* Provide support and training to employees and supervisors on timekeeping procedures, system usage, and policy compliance.
* Maintain accurate and organized timekeeping records, both electronic and physical, in accordance with company retention policies.
* Collaborate with the Payroll department to ensure seamless data flow and resolve any timekeeping-related payroll issues.
* Stay informed about relevant state and federal labor laws concerning timekeeping and payroll to ensure ongoing compliance.
* Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the project and operations teams.
Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
* 2-4 years of experience in a timekeeping, payroll, or administrative support role, preferably within the construction, energy, or industrial services industry.
* Proficiency in using timekeeping software and payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Viewpoint, CMiC).
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and payroll processes.
* Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data analysis and report generation.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with employees, supervisors, and other departments.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information.
* Familiarity with federal and state labor laws (e.g., FLSA) related to timekeeping and wages is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
