About The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will be responsible for guiding and mentoring a team of TIBCO ESB to ensure that APIs are developed as per the API strategy. As the TIBCO Tech Lead; You will be responsible and accountable for managing end-to-end delivery of all TIBCO changes for all strategic & high value revenue projects; You will collaborate with Clients, Vendors, Service Providers, and other internal/external stakeholders and ensure committed on-time engineering delivery; You will also act as a TIBCO technical expert and help in resolution of complex issues.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development expertise of Middleware Solutions using TIBCO Suite of Products (Business Works 5.x & 6.x, Enterprise Messaging Service).
  • Hands on experience in developing Adapters using Tibco Business Works.
  • Advanced expertise in TIBCO products – BW, EMS etc.
  • Implement Automated API pack for TIBCO components.
  • Provide SME consultancy in all geo-location implementation.
  • Contribution to API Centre initiatives.
  • Self-Learning and upskilling to Microservice architecture.
  • Responsible for design, development, and implementation of APIs as per the guidelines set by API Governance team.
  • You will be the technical owner to sign off the services/code developed by developers.
  • Define the development best practices and guidelines.
  • Mentoring the team for implementation of various API-Lifecycle management policies like traffic management, version management etc.
  • Define the standards for creation of static documentation/specification for all the APIs hosted on developer portal.
  • Participate with teams during sprint planning sessions / estimations.
  • You will be actively involved in feasibility studies of an new requirements using TIBCO suite of products.
  • Play an active role in impact analysis of the changes.
  • Define and implement the non-functional requirements during development sprints.
  • Provide the inputs for definition of ready from middleware perspective.
  • Define the acceptance criteria for production team.
  • Help production teams in improving monitoring of production services.
  • Define the standard deployment checklists and other templates.
  • Communicate project updates effectively back to COE.
  • Play an active role in setup, configuration, build automation tasks and help in creation of CI/CD pipeline.
  • Communicate challenges or risks proactively and appropriately.
  • Leads reviews of colleague's work.
Qualifications

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience with 8 plus years’ experience in TIBCO development.
  • Expert Java developer with 3 plus years’ experience.
  • Experience in BW plugins (Rest-JSON, MQ etc.).
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of all TIBCO technical integrations.
  • Must have a strong understanding of the design, development and deployment of TIBCO changes
    Certified in TIBCO platform.
  • Conduct module and integration testing according to process standards.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English & Arabic is preferred.
  • Have proven capabilities of Cost/budget optimization initiatives.
  • Very good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients. 
  • Good mentoring, team building, motivating, & negotiating skills. 
  • Working to tight deadlines, an ability to ensure delivery in high-pressure environments.
  • Strong team player; flexible, proactive, with a strong desire to ensure continues improvement in oneself and team.
