Salary: £33,531 – £38,052 per annum (pro rata to hours worked as part-time)

We are seeking an exceptional, engaging and committed individual to join us as a Thurrock First Advisor. to join the Thurrock First Team. 

This role is an interesting and exciting opportunity to work as part of a team supporting vulnerable service users within the borough.  You would be required to answer calls and respond to email queries and referrals into the team, whilst offering support with health, mental health and Adult Social Care. 

About the Role 

As a Thurrock First Advisor. you will be responsible for: 

  • Resolving queries at first point of contact.
  • Providing accurate and timely advice and information to enable people to get the support they require when they require it and where possible to prevent, reduce and delay the need for health and care intervention.
  • Having good conversations with people, finding out what matters to them and finding solutions that help not only to meet the immediate need, but to help people achieve the things that matter most to them in life.
  • Through having good conversations, supporting people to prepare their own Support Plans and to make arrangements for any commissioned services.

This role offers the chance to make a real difference by supporting vulnerable service users within the borough.

Thurrock First operate from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. This vacancy is for 21 hours per week working Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
