Job PurposeThe Third Party Content Consultant is responsible for the intake, review, and approval processes supporting third-party content marketing utilized to promote annuity advocacy, nurture leads, and bolster sales. The Consultant works closely with Distribution Marketing, Compliance, Strategic Relationships, Asset Managers, and other key stakeholders to manage project timelines, inventory management, auditing, and other job duties as assigned.Essential Responsibilities
- Acts as the business approver on third-party and asset manager marketing materials for compliance reviews/approvals/tracking and ensures compliance with relevant financial industry regulations. Sunsets obsolete and/or expired content.
- Actively manages library of third-party content, including asset managers, keynote speakers, meeting locations, timely presentations, and themes.
- Partners with marketing team members to align third-party marketing materials to core initiatives and strategies.
- Works with internal marketing support teams, including creative services, digital marketing, and marketing operations, to assist on various projects.
- Creates and manages the tracking process for all third-party marketing materials.
- Remains current on relevant regulatory matters.
- Participates in processes and projects as requested by management.
- Prioritizes projects against key corporate initiatives appropriately, develops and manages timelines, communicates regularly to all stakeholders, and consistently meets project deadlines.
- Conducts research on rules and regulations to determine impact on company procedures and makes recommendations.
- Acts as subject matter expert and may assist with training new associates.
- Attends industry meetings and informs leadership and team of industry best practices.
- Participates in regular meetings and material audits with Compliance and Marketing leadership.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to read and interpret rules and regulations applicable to Jackson, including state and federal regulations.
- Working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of financial services and/or insurance industry product offerings.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information to senior management.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, colleagues, including external contacts.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions with limited supervision.
- Demonstrates superior characteristics in terms of quality work product, dependability, attitude, and overall willingness to contribute to team goals.
- Demonstrated flexibility, willingness to embrace change, and adapt to continually evolving environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

- Strong analytical and investigative skills; ability to think critically and problem-solve outside of areas of subject matter expertise.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Ability to effectively analyze and resolve problems independently and exhibit good judgment in escalating to management as needed.
- Ability to use software and information technology to collect, organize, retrieve, maintain, and disseminate information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience (insurance, financial services, compliance, legal, etc.) required.
- FINRA Series 7 and 24 required.
