This role has been designed as ‘Hybrid’ with an expectation that you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.

Job Description:

   

HPE Aruba Networking Private 5G is a proven and scalable private cellular solution that makes it easier for enterprises to provide wider area coverage, high speed mobility, and mission-critical application connectivity for wireless use cases. This integrated private 5G solution complements existing Wi-Fi-based managed services and will help telco customers service the growing private cellular market and generate new revenue from their existing enterprise customers.

The candidate will enter in the testing team supporting the development of our products and solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Understand system requirements and translate them into testing scenarios
• Test and prove that the software meets actual architectural requirements
• Prove the scalability and performance of the product
• Focusing on the quality of the system as a whole
• Work with software developers and validation engineers
• Document, develop, and automate tests for software validation
• Document and detect bug issues by discussing their severity with other stakeholders
• Prepare file defect reports and report test progress
• Automate tests or cooperate to achieve platform test automation
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
• Cooperate with the development team to state or validate the software requirements and write the documentation
• Contribute to the debugging process, collecting proofs and evidences
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, being curios and proactive
• Help the testing team in reaching the shared goals
• Be cooperative and helpful towards other team members

Education and Experience Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Typically 2-4 years experience in telco projects testing.
• Native in Italian and fluent in English

Knowledge and Skills:

• Knowledge of the topics like software quality, testing process, type of tests, product lifecycle, bug reporting, experience in Agile methodology work
• Experience in manual and automated testing, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English.
• Ability to effectively communicate with product architects, developing engineers.
• Knowledge and understanding of agile project methodologies management tools (e.g., JIRA/Xray& Confluence)
• Good Unix/Linux competencies and knowledge of GIT (Gitlab)
• Familiarity with Test Automation tools like: Postman, Cypress/Selenium
• Basic knowledge and understanding of REST API.
• Python / bash / Gitlab and GitLab-CI

Nice to Have:

Basic knowledge and understanding of AWS
