We are looking for a Junior System Engineer Intern to join our R&D team in Treviso and support projects focused on optics and glass integration.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in mechanical and optical system design, learn laboratory processes, and understand company objectives. You will assist in assembly and testing activities under the guidance of experienced professionals, while developing your technical skills in a collaborative environment.

Under the supervision of senior engineers, you will:
Assist in assembling and integrating optical and glass components into mock-up systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Support functional and performance testing on prototypes, including optical alignment and mechanical stability checks.
Help troubleshoot assembly and system-level issues, learning how to conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Collect and organize test data, contributing to reports and recommendations for design improvements.
Collaborate with design and material science teams to ensure compatibility and performance of integrated systems.
Observe and learn new assembly techniques and tools, including precision alignment equipment.
Assist with vendor and supplier interactions for sourcing specialized components and assembly fixtures.
Contribute to internal documentation for assembly procedures, test protocols, and system validation reports.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Materials Science or Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemicals or related field.
