About Communications Specialist (m/f/d)

We are looking for a skilled writer and strategic thinker that helps to bring Testia's public relations (PR) strategy to full effect. Your role as Communications Manager will be to produce compelling content for internal and external communication, with a focus on copywriting for our website and external outlets, on website management and search engine optimization (SEO) and on communications strategy. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of the aerospace industry.
You will be working with an international team and on independent projects. Working in an international company, you will have a strong cross-cultural awareness and sensibility. You will also be able to find the right voice depending on the targeted audience - be it an expert in their field or the general public.


Your Tasks
  • Create high-quality, industry-specific content, including website articles and page content, newsletters, articles for external media, whitepapers, application notes, and presentations.

  • Manage and update the company website, ensuring it is informative, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.

  • Further develop and implement the SEO strategy.

  • Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for content creation.

  • Coordinate the content plan with the social media responsible and support them by preparing PR content for social media use.

  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to create your content in line with integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of the content strategy and apply these insights to future communications.

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in PR and online publishing.

  • Supporting the local entity with communications tasks in German.


What we look for

​We kindly ask you to provide your resume in english, and a short motivational letter (not more than one A4 page) and 3 to 4 relevant work samples with your application documents.

Min. requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in B2B communications

  • Bachelor’s degree in media studies, communications, journalism, marketing or similar fields

  • Language skills: English (equal to CEFR level C1) AND German (ideally as your first language, otherwise equal to CEFR level C1) 

  • You are outgoing and have excellent communication and writing skills

  • You are skilled to use various text genres and media formats and can select the appropriate means of communication to address a given audience.

  • You apply strong attention to detail and are well organized.

  • You have the ability to understand technical topics and explain them to a general audience.

  • You have the skills and methods to conceptualize, write and edit texts without the need to rely on generative LLMs (large language models)

  • You have a great awareness for transcultural communication, an inclusive writing style and a keen eye for accessibility.

  • You feel at home in a collaborative environment, working together with colleagues from various fields (marketing, communications, sales, operations etc.) and are also able to take responsibility for independent projects.

  • You are open for occasional business trips to various European Testia sites

  • You are capable to deliver to deadlines, proactive, problem-solving and assertive

  • You have proven experience in content marketing, website management and SEO

Min. Software skills:

  • Wordpress proficiency

  • SEO tools, ideally Yoast

  • Web analytics tools (ideally Plausible)

  • Profound knowledge of office software, ideally Google Workspace

Nice to have:

  • Additional languages skills in French and/or Spanish are beneficial

  • Elementor experience is beneficial

  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS are beneficial

  • Basic knowledge of core design principles and experience with graphics software or Canva is beneficial
