What you will be doing:
- Testing software applications, ensuring adherence to specified functionality, usability, and performance requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gain an understanding of software features and requirements.
- Produce and maintain extensive test documentation and reports.
- Pinpoint, document, and monitor software defects, followed by bug verification.
- Implement automated test cases for the regression team and address any resulting inquiries.
- Participate in Scrum sessions and contribute to the overall quality of the development process.
- Assist with identifying and implementing process improvements.
What our client is looking for:
- A relevant tertiary qualification would be ideal (e.g., Information Technology).
- 3 - 5 years of experience in software testing, in both manual and automated testing.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools, along with familiarity with Agile and Scrum.
- Knowledge of version control and bug tracking systems. Experience with ERP/POS/GL systems is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
