We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Automation
Tester with strong expertise in Selenium to join our quality assurance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and
executing automated test scripts to ensure the highest quality of our software
products. Experience with Cypress is a plus and will be considered a strong
advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and
high-quality automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and
manual testers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans
and cases.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated
tests to streamline the development process.
- Execute automated tests, analyze results, and report bugs
or issues with detailed documentation.
- Maintain and optimize test frameworks, tools, and
infrastructure.
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and
retrospectives within an Agile environment.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and
comprehensive test coverage.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing
using Selenium.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong proficiency in Java, IntelliJ and Maven.
- Experience with test frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit,
NUnit, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of testing RESTful APIs using tools like
Postman, RestAssured, or similar.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure
DevOps, or GitLab CI.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile/Scrum
methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and
communication skills
