Position Summary
Detail-oriented Manual Tester in executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring software quality through thorough functional and regression testing.
Job Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
• Requirement analysis
• Testing knowledge - writing manual test cases, scenarios, preparing test plans
• Experience in Testing Methodologies- Agile
• Testing (functional, Integration, System, UAT, Regression),
• Defect Management - Azure
• Exposure in Mainframe & Web based applications
• Proficient in MS Office
• Basic knowledge of Java & Automation Tool.
. Basic knowledge of AL.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
• Strong understanding of business requirements to define technical and process documents.
• Collaborate with Business & developer to develop Test Plan
• Requirement analysis & ambiguity review
• Support in estimation
• Create manual test scenarios / test cases
• Execute test cases
• Logging Defects and maintaining the Defect Management
• Test Reporting
• Risk & mitigation planning
• Support during post release review
• Experience in SDLC & STLC
• Should be able to work independently without supervision; any previous experience demonstrates this will be an added advantage.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education
Preferably B. Tech Graduate in Computer Applications / Computer Science
Experience
Minimum 0-2 years of experience in Manual Testing
Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
Technical (Must have):
- Requirement analysis
- Testing knowledge - writing manual test cases, scenarios, preparing test plans
- Experience in Testing Methodologies- Waterfall / Agile
- Testing (functional, Integration, System, UAT, Regression),
- Defect Management - Azure
- Exposure in Mainframe & Web based applications
- Proficient in MS Office
- Basic knowledge of Java
Technical (Good to have):
• Understanding of Agile Methodology
