Job DescriptionRenesas Taiwan will help foreigner apply for work visa. The contract period will be 1-3 years (upon government work permit approval status) with 3 months probation . The contract will be renewed based company discretion along with employee's performance results.
Job Purpose and Dimensions:
- To operate (autorun or do hand test) in-house Test equipment like Tester, Test Handler and Wafer Prober.
- To do incoming/outgoing inspection, packing and shipment of samples.
- To maintain 5S and adhere in all Renesas specs and other related documentation.
- To participate in projects (monitor, schedule and test HTOL/ORT devices) as required
- To comply with safety policies and regulations
- To participate in all applicable Company/Department/Team Goals
Communication:
- Verbal/Written communication with colleagues, internal and other departments.
- Report generation, email updates [reporting of Test result, shipment status, etc.] as required.
- Giving timely information/updates to colleagues and Supervisor.
- Creating a positive atmosphere through communication [accordingly to Renesas Code of Ethics]
Delivering Results:
- Completion of assigned tasks on time
- Meeting and exceeding targets [improve efficiency, Cost reduction]
- Participate in projects (CIP, Operation and Process Controls)
- Cost reduction initiative
Business Awareness:
- Making improvements in own work area [CIP, Operation efficiency, 5S]
- Understanding what drives the business and what their contributions are
- Contributes suggestions at the appropriate level [Teamwork, Brainstorming]
- Ability to solve Operation issue at the appropriate level
Working with Others:
- Fostering relationships within the team, ATC TENG, QENG and other cross functional Department team
- Assisting and provide guidance to new colleagues in accomplishing assigned tasks and projects.
Key Performance Measures:
- Meeting the assigned task on time
- Testing Fast Track samples, Testing HTOL/ORT, do IQA/OQA and shipping to subcon/customer.
- Email reporting of test results, maintaining test record and sending weekly updates
- Perform WIP inventory, receiving and shipping to Subcons (international & local).
- Meeting the Company, Departmental and Team Goals as defined every start of the year
- Demonstrate ability to work in team and individual performance and positive feedback by peers (within the company)
- Ability to deliver and complete special projects on-time.
- Zero non-compliance on operation activities
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Can communicate (verbal and written) primarily in English, and secondary in Mandarin
- Good knowledge of Test operation, and have at least 2 years’ experience as Test Operator
- Experience in operation of Tester [Teradyne I/UFlex, Advantest V93K, V50, ASL1K]
- Experience in operation of Test handlers (Cohu NY20) and Wafer probers (UF200/UF3000)
- Good interpersonal skills, Team player
Qualifications:
- Education: 2-year college level or above
- Experience: at least 2 years’ experience in Test or Manufacturing Operations.
- Able to operate the following Test equipment or combination thereof:
Tester: [Teradyne I/UFlex, Advantest V93K, V50, ASL1K]
Handler: (Cohu, NY20/NX32) and Wafer prober (UF200)
- Ability to work well under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadline
- Positive attitude, excellent teamwork/interpersonal skills, eager to learn and ability to adapt to changes.
