Role Responsibilities
We are currently seeking a Senior Consultant to support and drive the growth of our Capital Markets practice. This is an exciting opportunity to be a leader, in a growing team of data practitioners, where you will have the opportunity to deepen and expand your expertise within the Securities Services domain, supporting large‑scale change initiatives for leading global banks and financial services.
This project is with a leading bank as a Test Lead.
Role Overview
- Own and deliver end‑to‑end testing strategies and plans for digital asset initiatives, including platform transformations and product launches.
- Lead and coordinate SIT, UAT, regression, performance, and integration testing across multiple workstreams.
- Design detailed test scenarios and test cases, ensuring comprehensive coverage of functional, technical, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage defect lifecycle activities, including prioritisation, triage, tracking, and resolution with technology and business teams.
- Ensure solutions are production‑ready, meeting business expectations, technical standards, and regulatory obligations.
- Provide testing governance and status reporting, highlighting risks, dependencies, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Continuously enhance testing frameworks, processes, and tools to improve efficiency and quality outcomes.
Experience & Certification
- At least 5+ years experience in software testing within financial services or other regulated environments.
- Proven leadership in managing junior testers and providing clear, timely reporting to project stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
- Strong track record leading SIT and UAT phases for complex, multi‑system implementations.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, QA governance, and defect management practices.
- Ability to produce clear, structured test documentation, reports, and executive‑level updates.
- Knowledge or hands‑on experience with digital assets, DLT / blockchain platforms, custody, trading systems, or digital wallets is an advantage.
- Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across business and technology teams.
- Mandarin / Cantonese is preferred
