Responsibilities and Tasks
R & D and Production Responsibility• Execute installation, modification, project management, and maintenance support for pilot equipment sets• Solve straightforward problems with guidance, as needed, to identify such things as root cause of equipment shifts• Provide suggested solutions to real time equipment problems• Maintain active projects to reduce equipment total cost of ownership• Demonstrate ownership of assigned projects including, but not limited to, coordination, installation, maintenance, documentation, modification and over all support of equipment projects• Recommend equipment changes to improve process metrics• Work with Process engineers to define hardware modifications for new process viability and or existing process improvement• Transfer owned equipment knowledge to manufacturing with good support and documentation• Mentor other equipment engineers in the respective area• Support in providing detailed, expert analysis to team members and managers on project, technical or innovation issues• Research, gather and analyze information related to specific assignments within your technical discipline
Responsibilities:• Support, repair and upgrade production equipment.• Perform PM (Preventive Maintenance) and Change Over on production equipment effectively and efficiently.• Assist Supervisors/Engineers in making quality and reliability improvements.• Troubleshoot and analyze machine failure mechanism or frequency.• Minimize equipment downtime through preventive maintenance / fixes.• Monitor and improve on repair cycle time through continuous improvement effort.• Involved in Empowerment & Autonomous Maintenance Team activities.• Applies judgment in resolving non-routine problems .• Works on assignments that are moderately difficult .• Normally receives little instruction on daily work.• Identifies complex technical issues and applies judgment to resolve.• Troubleshoots advanced problems/issues with limited guidance.• Makes recommendations related to preventative maintenance and other non-routine issues.• May lead or train others on the team.• Applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.• Applies a thorough understanding of equipment to resolve problems .• Project involvement may extend to teams from different areas.
