Job Description

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to testing low voltage products while ensuring the proper operation and maintenance of the test station. You will conduct product demonstrations for customers, prepare and maintain test procedures and work instructions, participate in audits, and develop detailed test reports. In this role, you will also lead and train the test team, ensure execution of production plans, and prepare cost-saving initiatives to support operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical testing of low voltage products, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing of electrical equipment to support timely and accurate product release.
  • Maintain and ensure proper operation of test stations, including correct use of equipment and adherence to testing procedures.
  • Lead the test team by organizing daily activities, providing technical support and training, and ensuring effective execution of the testing process.
  • Prepare and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and technical product presentations for customers, as well as develop test procedures, work instructions, and cost-saving initiatives.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
  • A university degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Communicative proficiency in English, enabling effective collaboration and customer interaction.
  • Proven experience in testing low voltage electrical products in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
  • 5+ years of experience in testing low- and medium-voltage electrical equipment in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and assembly drawings for troubleshooting and verification purposes.
  • Proven experience in identifying, analyzing, and eliminating electrical faults and failures during testing and commissioning activities.
  • Prior experience in leading or coordinating a test team, including task planning and technical supervision.
  • Valid electrical certifications or qualifications authorizing work on electrical installations and equipment.
