The Opportunity:
- Join the GEOINT Tradecraft Suite (GTS) program, testing modern, user-facing web applications
- Support testing and release activities for software in a government environmental
- Execute hand-on manual testing, prepare formal test documentation for NGA Testing Organization (NTO) testing, and contribute to test automation
- Work on mission-focused systems with real user impact
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and system behavior
- Identify, document, and track defects with clear reproduction steps
- Support NTO preparation activities, including test evidence, documentation, and validation support
- Verify fixes and perform regression testing across releases and validate system stability
- Test and validate Jira tickets against acceptance criteria before closure each sprint
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and expected behavior
- Maintain and update test cases, test plans, and related documentation
- Assist in developing and maintaining basic automated tests where applicable
- Support test execution across multiple environments (e.g., development, test, staging)
- Help onboard and guide junior testers over time as experience grows
Qualifications:
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on manual testing
- Experience writing and executing test cases and documenting defects
- Familiarity with structured testing processes and working in team environments
- Current TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain polygraph
- Ability to learn new systems and domains quickly
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow through on testing tasks
Desired:
- Experience supporting release validation or operational readiness activities
- Good communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical team members
- Familiarity with NTO/ATO-related processes, test evidence, and documentation expectations
- Exposure to automated testing tools or frameworks

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
