Role MissionAs a Test Engineer, your mission is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable releases of our core SaaS platform and supporting technology. By designing and executing automated and manual tests, maintaining CI/CD pipelines, and applying best practices in testing, you will safeguard platform performance, security, and user experience. Leveraging tools such as Playwright, Cypress, JMeter, and Azure DevOps, you will play a critical role in building customer trust and supporting the continued growth of our RegTech solutions.
Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Execution: Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, non-functional, and end-to-end test cases (manual and automated).
Automation: Implement and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Playwright and Cypress.
Performance Testing: Conduct load, performance, and scalability testing using JMeter and K6 to ensure platform stability.
API Testing: Develop and execute test cases for APIs to validate integration, performance, and reliability.
CI/CD Integration: Configure, maintain, and optimize automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps.
Quality Assurance: Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and contribute to high-quality software delivery standards.
Collaboration: Partner closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure seamless delivery.
Defect Management: Identify, document, and track defects through resolution, ensuring root causes are addressed effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience: 3–5 years of professional software testing experience.
Core Technologies & Tools:
Strong experience with Playwright and Cypress for automation.
Performance and load testing expertise with JMeter and K6.
Knowledge of Typescript and JavaScript for test scripting.
Proven experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
Testing Expertise:
Solid understanding of testing methodologies, techniques, and strategies (functional and non-functional).
Experience with end-to-end application testing, performance testing, UAT, and API testing.
Hands-on knowledge of web application and API testing practices.
Soft Skills:
Passion for product quality with a meticulous eye for detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Intellectual flexibility to understand complex systems and propose workable solutions.
High level of drive, ownership, and ability to perform under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in testing SaaS-based or enterprise-scale platforms.
Exposure to cloud-based environments (Azure preferred).
Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Professional certifications in software testing or quality assurance.
