Responsibilities:
The Test Engineer will engage in test development processes. The incumbent will apply the principles of electrical and computer engineering to (1) establish project development plans, monitor the status and progress of test and other project deliverables, and provide timely metrics on project status; (2) review and approve test plans, station designs, and validation documentation; (3) design, develop, and maintain test strategies for new and existing SEL products; (4) evaluate new test technologies and methods; (5) determine Design for Test (DFT) specifications and coordinate with the company’s engineering staff on new product design; (6) gather and analyze test data to improve test coverage, process efficiencies, and perform software verification; (7) ensure clear and efficient communications between test development team and customers; (8) understand hardware and software interactions and collaborate with Hardware Engineers; and (9) continuously identify, measure, and improve company engineering processes.
The positions will be based out of the company’s headquarters located at 2350 NE Hopkins Court, Pullman, Washington 99163. The position requires regular on-site work at the Pullman office and does not permit remote work or work-from-home arrangements.
Salary Range: $100,000.00 to $106,000.00 per year
