**Position is contingent upon contract award

The Test Engineer supports test planning, analysis, and verification with accurate procedures and evidence-based results. You will help engineering and test stakeholders evaluate capability performance, investigate problems, and document mitigation and verification outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements for testability and prepare status inputs for the Test and Evaluation (T&E) Lead.
• Support trade studies, process flows, baseline performance measurements, and engineering problem analysis.
• Prepare test plans and procedures and maintain supporting analysis and presentations.
• Contribute technical-risk assessments, mitigation plans, and corrective-action and verification activities.
• Participate in developmental, operational, follow-on software, and Government acceptance test analyses.
• Document system verification results and support coordinated testing, including multi-site activities as assigned.

Required qualifications

• 8 years of experience performing professional services associated with test planning, analysis, and verification.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Ability to develop test products, analyze engineering problems, and connect verification results to requirements and supporting evidence.
• Meet applicable background investigation, CAC, network, facility, and duty-specific classified-access requirements.
• Secret Clearance

Preferred qualifications

Experience with DoD system testing, test procedures, requirements verification, defect analysis, and C2 engineering support.
