Test Engineer - ArcticDB
This is a technical role in Engineering that focuses on advancing product excellence and engineering productivity. ArcticDB is a client-side timeseries database written in Python and C++. You can find more about ArcticDB on our website.
We are looking for a software engineer to contribute to our automated testing infrastructure, which is a collection of tests mostly written in Python that run in Github Actions CI. The ideal candidate would be able to work on projects like:

Exploratory testing with pytest to find bugs and usability issues as early as possible, for both new and existing features.

Expanding our CI infrastructure to test backwards and forwards compatibility of ArcticDB versions.

Stress tests, fuzzing and test runs with dynamic analysis tools to find programming errors.

Performance analysis and benchmarking.

Requirements:

Experience in product engineering and experience testing core infrastructure components.

Familiarity with continuous integration practices and experience with a CI/CD technology to automate testing and deployment processes.

Good experience in test engineering with at least one of Python or C++.

Good experience with at least one automated testing framework (we use pytest and gtest heavily, but prior experience in these is not essential).

Native level of communication skills in English

Bachelor in Computer Science.

MSc or Ph.D. in any scientific degree Github Actions experience
