Test Engineer

What you’ll achieve
As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test plans and test cases for newly developed or existing software products based on business and technical requirements. You will work closely with developers, designers, and technologists to determine test needs and implement automation frameworks for efficient testing
You will:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python to improve software validation efficiency.
- Identify technical risks and create risk management plans to mitigate testing challenges.
- Manage and execute test plans daily, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Report test execution progress and defects to the engineering team, tracking issues from identification to resolution.
- Work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve software defects identified during testing.
- Continuously enhance test automation strategies to optimize testing efforts and improve product quality.

Essential Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience in software testing, including automation testing
- Strong understanding of software system architecture and interactions to diagnose and resolve issues
- Hands-on experience with Python-based automation frameworks
- Enthusiastic about learning new tools, languages, and operating systems
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical documentation
Desirable Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with test management tools and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Selenium, or PyTes.
