About the Team/Role
As a Territory Sales Representative at WEX, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and growth for our market-leading payment product. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new accounts for our fleet card programs across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware. We are seeking dynamic, results-oriented sales professionals who are adept at generating strong leads, prospecting, and identifying opportunities. The ideal candidate is a proactive communicator with exceptional discovery and presentation skills, along with a strong track record in closing sales. We are looking for individuals who reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Delaware. Travel for this role is 50-75%.
How you’ll make an impact
As a "Hunter" in this role, the RSM will take on the primary responsibility of identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within the territory. Key responsibilities include:

Consistently meet or exceed monthly KPIs (net cards, gallons, revenue)

Develop a strategic plan for territory expansion in collaboration with your sales manager

Self-generate leads and build a robust pipeline of fleet opportunities

Maintain accurate records in Salesforce

Demonstrate exceptional discovery and presentation skills
Experience you’ll bring

3-5 years of outside sales experience with a proven track record in client acquisition

Demonstrated consistent quota performance in a business-to-business sales environment

Ability to sell against the competition

Strong prospect-channel identification, development, and qualification skills

High degree of territory management capability

Willingness to travel via air or vehicle

Successful completion of a background investigation

Base Salary: $56,000-$75,000 + Uncapped OTE
-
Commission-based role with an OTE of $100,000+
The base pay range represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position. Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
