THE ROLE


PlayOn! Sports is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to join our rSchoolToday team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated professional with a proven track record in sales, customer relationship management, and retention strategies. As a key member of our sales department, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and ensuring long-term customer satisfaction. This role will be focused on our customers in Illinois, Maryland, Missouri, Tennessee & Texas.


Additional responsibilities and accountabilities for this role include:


Sales:

• Prospect and identify potential clients through research, networking, and cold calling.

• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition and benefits of our offerings.

• Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, managing leads and opportunities through the sales cycle.

• Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals that align with both company objectives and customer needs.

• Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets to contribute to overall revenue goals.


Customer Retention:

• Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty and retention rates.

• Conduct regular check-ins with existing customers to understand their evolving needs and challenges.

• Address customer concerns promptly and effectively, serving as a point of contact for issue resolution.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customers receive exceptional support and solutions.

• Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities based on customer usage and feedback.


Relationship Management:

• Foster strong, trust-based relationships with key clients to become a trusted advisor.

• Work closely with the marketing team to align messaging and promotions with customer preferences.

• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to provide insights for strategy refinement.

• Collaborate with the sales team to share customer feedback and insights for continuous improvement.

• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to expand the company's reach.


Data Analysis and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and progress in CRM systems.

• Analyze sales and customer retention data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

• Prepare regular reports and presentations to share insights with leadership and other stakeholders.

 

THE PERSON


• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).

• Proven experience in sales, account management, or customer retention, preferably in a B2B environment preferred.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.

• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite or willingness to learn.

• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for achieving targets.

• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry landscape.

• Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events (no more than once per month).
