Territory Sales Manager

The art of solving problems, not just selling

We’re looking for a confident, relationship-focused Territory Sales Manager to join our team and look after our ready-mix concrete customers across Sydney’s Northern Beaches.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building genuine customer relationships, understanding their challenges and finding practical solutions that create value. You’ll work closely with existing customers while also identifying new opportunities across the territory.

You don’t need to be a traditional salesperson to succeed in this role. If you’re naturally curious, commercially minded, enjoy being out meeting customers and are motivated by solving problems, we’d love to hear from you.

In your new role, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with ready-mix concrete customers across the Northern Beaches.

  • Understand customer needs, challenges and opportunities and connect them with the right solutions from our product and service portfolio.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, customers and market segments within your territory.

  • Manage an effective 12-month rolling order book and sales pipeline across existing and new customers.

  • Monitor market conditions, customer needs, competitor activity and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes and achieve territory objectives.

  • Contribute to regional sales targets and the Sales Incentive Scheme.

  • Keep on top of the necessary administration and reporting that comes with managing a successful territory.

This role could be a great fit for you if you:

  • Have 3+ years’ experience in field sales, account management, customer service or a relevant industry. Experience in industrial, building or construction-related sectors is advantageous, but not essential.

  • Enjoy getting to know customers and understanding what really matters to their business.

  • Are confident identifying customer and market insights and turning them into practical opportunities.

  • Have a good understanding of sales processes and enjoy working in a structured, organised way.

  • Are commercially minded, with strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

  • Build trust easily and have a positive, authentic and influential approach to relationships.

  • Have strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

  • Can confidently explain products, services and technical information in a way that demonstrates customer value.

  • Are comfortable engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders, from operational contacts through to senior decision-makers.

  • Are organised, self-motivated and able to manage your own territory while working collaboratively as part of a team.

  • Most importantly, are keen to learn and develop. If you don’t tick every box but believe you have the skills and attitude to succeed, we encourage you to apply.

What we offer

  • An attractive remuneration package, including company vehicle, phone, laptop and sales incentive program.

  • Ongoing sales training across areas including sustainability, digital solutions and value selling.

  • Genuine career development and progression opportunities.

  • The opportunity to build your career with a reputable industry leader in the building and construction industry.

  • A supportive, collaborative team environment where your ideas, experience and perspective are valued.

  • A role where you can make a genuine difference to customers and the communities in which we operate.
