We are excited to welcome a talented Territory Manager to our L7 - IN - LEGRAND - Trade Sales team. In this role, you will be a key driver of our sales strategy, responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets. Your electrical industry knowledge and sales expertise will be instrumental in expanding our market presence and maintaining our leadership position.
Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential customers and decision-makers within the assigned territory, focusing on new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our customer base, leveraging industry trends and competitor insights.
- Build and nurture strong customer relationships, understanding their needs and providing tailored electrical and digital system solutions.
- Achieve and surpass sales targets by managing and executing sales activities efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry developments, competitor activities, and market dynamics to keep our products and services competitive and relevant.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with sales goals and strategies.
- Provide valuable feedback and insights to the management team, contributing to strategic decision-making and business growth.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of sales activities, including sales forecasts, customer feedback, and market intelligence.
- Maintain a deep understanding of our product portfolio, including new launches and features, to effectively represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in the electrical industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales role, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and building strong customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, utilizing data-driven approaches to make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales enablement tools to enhance sales performance and customer engagement.
- Willingness and ability to travel within the assigned territory, approximately 8-10 days per month, to meet customer needs and business requirements.
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle for business travel purposes.
- Fluency in English and regional languages is highly advantageous for effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
Skills Required
