At IN - NOVATEUR ELECTRICAL & DIGITAL SYSTEMS PRIVATE LIMITED (NEDS), we are seeking a talented and driven Territory Manager to lead our Business Development efforts in the L7 - IN - INDOASIAN - Sales department. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence and maximizing order conversion in the government sector.
Responsibilities
- Manage and track GeM tenders daily, identifying relevant opportunities for Indoasian products.
- Prepare bid strategies, technical and commercial bids, and ensure timely submission on the GeM portal.
- Maintain and update the GeM product catalogue, ensuring accurate specifications, images, and pricing.
- Coordinate with various government departments and institutions to generate demand and expand our customer base.
- Track orders received through GeM and ensure timely execution and customer satisfaction.
- Generate daily tender trackers, bid conversion ratios, win/loss analyses, and other MIS reports.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Management, Marketing, and Supply Chain.
- Stay updated on government procurement rules and electrical product knowledge.
- Analyze tenders, negotiate commercially, and manage contracts effectively.
- B.E./B.Tech (Electrical/Electronics) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, with an MBA (Marketing/Sales) preferred.
- 3-8 years of experience in Government Tendering, GeM, or Project Sales, with a background in the electrical or switchgear industry preferred.
- Proficiency in GeM Portal Operations, CPPP Portal, Tender Documentation, MS Excel, SAP/ERP, and Pricing Analysis.
- Strong analytical, attention to detail, time management, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to negotiate commercially, manage contracts, and analyze tenders effectively.
- Experience in developing government customer relationships and expanding customer bases.
- A proven track record of increasing GeM business, improving bid conversion ratios, and achieving on-time delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- A results-driven and proactive approach to work.
