You'll be responsible for growing Hancock's presence throughout the territory by:
- Developing new insurance carrier and client relationships
- Expanding business with existing customers
- Building and executing territory growth strategies
- Prospecting through networking, referrals, trade shows, and in-person meetings
- Recruiting and developing independent roof inspection contractors
- Creating market-by-market business plans
- Building strong relationships with claims managers, adjusters, and vendor partners
- Delivering presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Maintaining an active sales pipeline using CRM software
- Working closely with Operations to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction
We're seeking someone with:
- 3+ years of outside sales or business development experience
- Experience within property & casualty insurance, claims, inspections, restoration, or related industries
- Proven success prospecting and closing new business
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong presentation and negotiation abilities
- Ability to travel extensively throughout the assigned territory
- Self-starter who enjoys working independently
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
- Experience selling to insurance carriers, MGAs, TPAs, or claims organizations
- Existing industry relationships throughout the western U.S.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience
