The Saia Corporate Internship Program is a 10-week paid summer internship running from June 1, 2026, to August 7, 2026. Interns gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful projects. The program includes a structured learning curriculum, mentorship, job shadowing, Lunch & Learns, and a capstone presentation to the Executive Team.Position SummarySupports various departments by performing administrative tasks, assisting with projects, and gaining practical experience.Major Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Assists with daily operations and administrative tasks.
  • Prepares and edits documents, presentations, and reports.
  • Helps organize and maintain files and records.
  • Supports team members with project-related activities and assignments.
  • Provides customer service support and answer inquiries.
  • Works with various teams to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Rising juniors or rising seniors only
  • Strong leadership potential and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Prior internship or related experience.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Must be open to future relocation
  • Assist front-line supervisors in workforce management and productivity tracking
  • Participate in safety, compliance, and process improvement initiatives
  • Support scheduling, reporting, and operational documentation
  • Monitor team performance and assist with daily operational challenges
  • Contribute to operational projects and initiatives
