SAIA Corporate Internship Program – Terminal Operations InternThe SAIA Corporate Internship Program is a 10-week paid summer internship running from June 1, 2026 to August 7, 2026. Interns gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful projects. The program includes a structured learning curriculum, mentorship, job shadowing, Lunch & Learns, and a capstone presentation to the Executive Team.Position SummarySupports various departments by performing administrative tasks, assisting with projects, and gaining practical experience.Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Assists with daily operations and administrative tasks.
- Prepares and edits documents, presentations, and reports.
- Helps organize and maintain files and records.
- Supports team members with project-related activities and assignments.
- Provides customer service support and answer inquiries.
- Works with various teams to support cross-functional initiatives and projects.
- Rising juniors or rising seniors only
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn
- Prior internship or related experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must be open to future relocation.
- Assist front-line supervisors in workforce management and productivity tracking
- Participate in safety, compliance, and process improvement initiatives
- Support scheduling, reporting, and operational documentation
- Monitor team performance and assist with daily operational challenges
- Contribute to operational projects and initiatives
