For over 170 years, Anglicare has been serving people in need. We began because people saw a need and were compelled to make a difference, and that purpose continues today.
Our vision is simple yet powerful: Jesus Christ honoured, lives enriched and communities strengthened.
As our Tender & Grants Officer, you'll play an important role in securing the funding that enables our Community and Mission services to deliver meaningful outcomes for people and communities.
Be welcomed into a compassionate, respectful and purpose-driven community where we don't just talk about values - we live them.

Your opportunity

As our Tender & Grants Officer, you'll support the end-to-end tender and grants process, working closely with stakeholders across Community and Mission to identify opportunities and develop compelling, high-quality funding submissions.
You'll combine strong writing, research and coordination skills to help shape service proposals, gather supporting evidence and ensure submissions are accurate, competitive and delivered on time.

With integrity and resilience, you will:

  • Coordinate the development and submission of grant applications and tenders across Community and Mission.
  • Research funding opportunities and gather evidence and insights to strengthen proposals.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to help develop service models and translate ideas into compelling submissions.
  • Draft, review and edit high-quality tender and grant responses tailored to funding requirements.
  • Track tender and grant activity, maintain accurate records and ensure submissions meet compliance requirements and deadlines.
What you'll bring

You're a strong writer and organised professional who can take complex information and turn it into clear, persuasive and engaging content.
You'll bring excellent research and analytical skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines. You enjoy working collaboratively with stakeholders but are equally comfortable taking ownership of your work and driving submissions forward.
You also share our organisational values of integrity, justice, compassion and excellence, embedding them in everything you do.

What's required:
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Communications, Social Sciences or another relevant discipline.
  • Experience in tender writing, grant applications or professional/technical writing.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to tailor content for different audiences.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong research and analytical capability, with competency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
What's preferred:
  • Experience developing funding submissions within community services, not-for-profit or a related sector.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to develop service models or funding proposals.
  • Current NSW Driver's Licence.
