Job Objective: We are looking for a Scrum Master with experience in data teams to lead the implementation of agile methodologies, facilitate collaboration among multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the continuous delivery of value in projects related to data quality, governance, and integration. This role will be key in fostering an agile culture, improving operational efficiency, and supporting the evolution of our data platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Remove impediments affecting team productivity.
- Promote continuous improvement and learning within the team.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure effective backlog management.
- Monitor team performance metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.).
- Foster communication between technical teams (Data Quality, ETL, Analytics, etc.) and business stakeholders.
- Support the adoption of agile practices in teams related to data quality, governance, and cloud platforms.
- Ensure alignment between technical deliverables and strategic objectives of the data area.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in systems engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master, preferably working with data teams, BI, data engineering, or digital transformation projects.
A Master’s Degree in Project Management, Data Science, or Digital Transformation is a plus but not mandatory.
Technical Skills (Required):
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in technical teams, ideally in data environments.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, etc.
- Ability to facilitate teams with diverse technical profiles (Data Engineers, Data Quality Analysts, Analytics Developers).
Desirable / Plus:
- Previous experience in data quality, governance, or data integration projects.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, Power BI.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and ETL/ELT processes.
- Experience in regulated environments or with high data quality standards.
