Job Description:
Temporary Plate Production Coordinator
Assignment through February 28, 2027
Platemaking Accountabilities
This position will be responsible for processing graphic packages for the graphics department to supply Crown's North American Beverage Division with the highest quality and quickest turnaround.
Duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Punch and prepare plates for output.
Load prepared files on CTP or DLE, expose and process plates.
Examine plates for defects, package, and prepare for shipping.
Follow all required safety procedures such as PPE, Ergonomics, Chemical Hazards, general housekeeping, etc. Perform the job in a manner that protects the health and safety of all employees.
Requirements
Requirements for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Experience and understanding of the plate-making process preferred.
Previous experience in a printing environment is beneficial.
Working knowledge of the Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
Work effectively without direct supervision as well as in a team environment.
Ability to learn quickly and understand new concepts.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will regularly move heavy boxes from storage to the plate room.
