Job summary:
- Provide customer service and clerical support for the Closing & Title Teams.
- This position is responsible for front desk coverage.
- The General Office Assistant assists the Closers in maintaining client relationships, generating new business, promoting the closing teams, and promoting Burnet Title products and services.
- Assist with Burnet Title marketing.
- Answer incoming telephone calls and greet clients for closings.
- Field customer inquiries and respond with the necessary information, in a timely manner.
- Submit requests for additional information regarding each transaction.
- Copy, scan and fax documents and information, to assist the Closer and Title Examiners.
- Retrieve files, file paperwork, prepare files for imaging and storage.
- Technical data entry of specific order details/information into the CORE database.
- Run reports to update/review information to assist management and to support the Team.
- Maintain office and conference rooms in a professional manner.
- Order office supplies.
Qualifications:
- Education High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.
- Strong typing and computer skills (Microsoft Word and Outlook)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be well organized and detail oriented.
- Self-starter and ability to multi-task.
- Data entry and processing experience preferred.
- Ability to bend/squat and reach on occasion.
- Able to lift items up to approximately 15 pounds.
- Work Experience Minimum 2 years of experience working with a title insurance company or other real estate services company preferred, and/or customer service-related industries.
- Ability to obtain a Notary License.
