Temporary Manager – Process Risk and Controls (Global Banks)

Position Overview
RSM is seeking a highly motivated temporary Manager to lead risk consulting teams for global banks. This role focuses on process risk, internal controls, and compliance, supporting financial institutions in navigating evolving risk landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide multidisciplinary teams in delivering high-quality solutions for global banking clients.

  • Mentor junior staff while ensuring smooth execution of client projects.

  • Manage multiple client projects in areas such as operational risk, technology risk, regulatory compliance, and internal audit.

  • Provide subject-matter expertise in process risk and controls across global banking lines of business.

  • Contribute insights on best practices and industry trends.

  • Support internal initiatives, including process improvements and knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in business, accounting, finance, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years in financial services (internal audit, controls, consulting), including global banks.

  • Experience at a professional services firm preferred.

  • Exposure across three lines of defense and multiple business areas (CFO, operations, data, technology, compliance).

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

  • Strong communication and client management skills.

  • Certifications (optional but preferred): CPA, CIA, CFE, PMP.

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $64 - $96 per hour
