Temporary Document Scanning Specialist

About the Position
Pacific Office Automation is seeking 8 Temporary Document Scanning Specialists to support a large document imaging project at a client site (Portland). This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy detail-oriented work, can stay organized in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in maintaining accuracy.
This position is temporary through March 2027. While benefits are not offered for this temporary assignment, there may be opportunities to transition into a regular full-time position with Pacific Office Automation upon project completion if openings are available.
Responsibilities
- Prepare paper documents for scanning
- Cut folders and separate documents as needed
- Tape photo edges and repair documents to ensure proper scanning
- Scan documents accurately using high-volume scanning equipment
- Perform basic quality checks on scanned images
- Organize and reassemble documents when required
- Shred documents according to client procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all client confidentiality and document security requirements

Compensation & Benefits

- Temporary assignment through March 2027 or until completion of project.
- No benefits are offered for this temporary position
- Opportunity to be considered for a permanent full-time position with Pacific Office Automation after the project concludes, based on business needs and available openings
