Temporary / Contractor Marketing Brand Manager
Please note: This is a temp assignment, with an initial contract assignment through December 31, 2026
Pay Range: $25-33 per hour
Position Summary
The Brand Manager is responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing brand strategies that drive awareness, engagement, customer acquisition, and long-term brand equity. This role partners across marketing, sales, digital, product, and external agencies to ensure a consistent and compelling brand experience across all customer touchpoints. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, creativity, and analytical expertise to drive measurable business results.
Primary Duties
Brand Strategy & Positioning
- Develop and execute brand strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives.
- Maintain and evolve brand positioning, messaging, and value propositions.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing, communications, and customer-facing channels.
Campaign Development & Execution
- Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, traditional, and experiential channels.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners to develop creative concepts and execute campaigns.
- Manage campaign timelines, budgets, and performance measurement.
Customer Insights & Market Research
- Analyze consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive activity to identify opportunities.
- Conduct and interpret research to strengthen brand positioning and customer engagement.
- Translate insights into actionable marketing strategies.
Content & Communications
- Guide development of compelling content and messaging that reinforces the brand.
- Ensure all communications align with brand standards and strategic objectives.
- Support thought leadership and reputation-building initiatives.
Analytics & Optimization
- Monitor brand health, campaign effectiveness, and key performance indicators.
- Utilize data and analytics tools to measure ROI and continuously optimize performance.
- Develop executive-level reporting and recommendations.
Additional Duties
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
- Stay current on industry trends, consumer insights, and emerging marketing technologies.
Minimum Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Advertising, or a related field.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in brand management, marketing, advertising, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated success developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns.
- Experience working with ad agencies, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

- Strong understanding of brand strategy, positioning, and customer segmentation.
- Proven project management and organizational skills.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or highly regulated industries.
- Agency experience or experience managing agency relationships.
- Experience with brand tracking, consumer research, and marketing attribution.
Skills Required
