The Auditor partners cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Materials, and Suppliers to strengthen quality processes, improve first-pass yield, and support consistent, reliable delivery across the Distribution Group.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Quality Auditing & Inspection

  • Conduct first article inspections and validate new assemblies to ensure accuracy prior to full production
  • Perform physical inspections of finished goods, including UVN and Hut/Infrastructure builds, to confirm installation integrity and readiness for deployment

Process Validation & Improvement

  • Identify gaps in processes and initiate corrective action requests (CARs) to address root causes
  • Partner with Operations and Engineering to implement process improvements that enhance quality, efficiency, and consistency
  • Support continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing defects, rework, and material waste

Quality Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and document audit findings, defect trends, and recurring issues
  • Escalating systemic quality concerns that impact cost, delivery, or customer satisfaction
  • Provide clear, actionable feedback to stakeholders to support resolution and prevent recurrence

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Materials, Purchasing, and Suppliers to ensure consistent application of quality standards
  • Serve as a quality resource to operations while maintaining independent audit integrity
  • Support quality-related initiatives and special projects as needed
  • Supports continuous improvement by following established processes, identifying inefficiencies or issues, and contributing to solutions that improve safety, quality, and productivity. Leverages available tools and technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, where appropriate to improve efficiency and streamline work.

  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend solutions
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to deliver feedback constructively and influence outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

What We Do

Headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, Telamon-Transition Resources Corporation (TRC) is a 501(c)(3) private non-profit organization that provides educational services through early childhood and family support programs, workforce and career services, and housing and financial empowerment services to nearly 24,000 individuals a year in eleven states. MISSION: Our mission is to provide educational services that lead to better jobs, better lives, and better communities. HISTORY: Since our beginnings in 1965 as the Migrant Project of the North Carolina Council of Churches, we have grown into a large, stable organization with diverse funding from federal and state governments, as well as substantial partnerships with private foundations. We became a HUD certified National Intermediary in the Housing Counseling sector, and we provide community action services through projects in West Virginia and North Carolina. In Indiana, we are Transition Resources Corporation, or TRC, since another organization held the Telamon name when we incorporated in that state. TODAY: Now in our 54th year of service, we are focused on growth, and on positive customer outcomes. In 2014, Telamon began providing financial literacy services to families and staff in our Delaware Head Start programs through an innovative partnership with the State of Delaware's $tand By Me program. In 2016, our Governing Board and executive leadership set a strategic goal of growing our services by embedding financial empowerment for customers and staff into all our lines of business.
