Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all .
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
As a Technology Transfer Tool Install and Deinstall Program Manager, you will lead cross-functional execution for technology transfer activities by bridging Equipment Engineering, Facilities Construction, OEM suppliers, site PMO, and manufacturing stakeholders. This role ensures tool installation and deinstallation scope is planned, sequenced, and executed to meet program schedule, cost, safety, and readiness commitments. You will serve as an integration leader across engineering, construction, PMO, and supplier teams, driving alignment on scope, ownership, constraints, field execution, and decision-making required to enable successful technology transfer and manufacturing ramp delivery.
Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Technology Transfer Execution
  • Lead tool install and deinstall program execution for technology transfer initiatives, ensuring requirements are translated into clear scope, schedules, milestones, risks, and ownership across Equipment Engineering and Facilities Construction.
  • Develop and manage integrated execution roadmaps for tool moves, deinstallations, installations, utility readiness, supplier readiness, construction handoffs, and manufacturing ramp commitments.
  • Establish program governance, escalation paths, and decision forums to maintain alignment across engineering, construction, operations, procurement, EHS, OEM suppliers, site PMO, and leadership stakeholders.

Equipment Engineering & Facilities Construction Integration
  • Serve as the bridge between Equipment Engineering and Facilities Construction to ensure tool-specific requirements, construction readiness, utility dependencies, layout constraints, and field execution plans are fully aligned.
  • Coordinate across hook-up, tool owners, facilities system owners, contractors, OEM suppliers, and site PMO to resolve gaps that could impact installation sequence, tool qualification, ramp readiness, or the overall project schedule.
  • Drive proactive identification and closure of construction, facilities, and equipment interface risks before they impact critical path execution.

Schedule, Cost & Field Execution Control
  • Own integrated schedule management for assigned tool install and deinstall activities, including milestone tracking, site PMO alignment, OEM supplier coordination, constraint removal, recovery planning, and critical path escalation.
  • Partner with finance, procurement, construction, and engineering teams to monitor cost exposure, control scope growth, and support tradeoff decisions that protect program commitments.
  • Drive field execution discipline by aligning labor plans, contractor readiness, material availability, access requirements, and work sequencing to minimize schedule disruption and rework.

Risk Management, Readiness & Constraint Removal
  • Maintain visibility to open risks, blockers, and readiness gaps impacting tool deinstall, install, construction, utility availability, and qualification activities.
  • Lead cross-functional problem solving to remove constraints, accelerate decisions, and ensure teams are focused on the highest-priority actions required to protect technology transfer schedule and cost targets.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Stakeholder Alignment
  • Act as the primary integration point across Equipment Engineering, Facilities Construction, facilities operations, EHS, procurement, finance, manufacturing, OEM suppliers, site PMO, and external partners for assigned technology transfer tool scopes.
  • Ensure execution plans meet safety, quality, cleanroom protocol, manufacturing readiness, tool qualification, and construction turnover requirements.
  • Influence across organizations without direct authority by clarifying priorities, driving accountability, and ensuring timely escalation of decisions requiring leadership support.

Reporting & Executive Communication
  • Deliver concise, data-driven updates to site and program leadership on schedule status, cost impacts, readiness gaps, critical risks, and recovery actions.
  • Prepare executive summaries, action trackers, dashboards, and decision briefs that clearly communicate program health, tradeoffs, and required leadership support.
  • Support timely decision-making by framing options, impacts, ownership, and recommended paths forward for complex equipment and construction interface issues.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience leading complex programs involving semiconductor equipment installation, deinstallation, facilities construction, manufacturing operations, or industrial project execution.
  • Strong understanding of tool install workflows, construction readiness, utility dependencies, field execution, schedule management, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, resolve interface gaps, manage competing priorities, and drive accountability across teams without direct reporting authority.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to summarize risks, actions, tradeoffs, and decisions for senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.
  • Experience supporting technology transfer, fab ramp, capacity expansion, or large-scale equipment relocation programs.
  • Background managing contractor performance, field labor productivity, procurement constraints, construction turnover, or supplier readiness in a high-velocity manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in integrated master schedules, milestone governance, risk management, cost tracking, and executive-level program reporting.
