VMware@Broadcom is looking for a seasoned Senior Product Manager to help build the next generation of Security products in the Application Networking and Security division at Broadcom. Our customers are facing increasingly sophisticated threats and are looking for solutions to protect their digital assets while maintaining business agility and continuity. As a Product Manager for Network Security – vDefend Advanced Threat Prevention, you will be responsible for developing and driving the next generation of vDefend Advanced Threat Prevention products.

You will be involved in all stages of the product life cycle – conception, definition, development, release, and post-release activities. You will help drive dramatic growth by working closely with R&D, UX/UI, TPM, Marketing and Go-to-Market teams.

This role will provide you opportunities to work across geographies, interact with multi-functional teams and delight customers. You will find that work is both fun and challenging in a highly collaborative, inclusive, and agile atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer pain points and translate into clear, concise use cases and detailed product requirements

• Work closely with R&D teams to prioritize requirements and deliver products that meet the needs of the target segments and customers

• Engage with threat research and security analysts to stay current with the latest cyber threats and trends: translate into concrete detection improvements in the product

• Develop, maintain, and communicate product roadmap to customers, prospects, and internal teams

• Support go-to-market activities by working closely with product marketing teams to develop content and messaging that enable sales and field marketing teams

• Deliver engaging presentations and demos to both internal and external audiences

 
Experience/Education

• Bachelors degree in engineering/technical field and 12+ years of related experience (5+ of those in Product Management of network security or related domains/products) or a Masters degree in engineering/technical field and 10+ years of experience (5+ of those in Product Management of network security or related domains/products)

• MBA is a plus

• Expertise in one or more areas is required: Firewalls, Intrusion Detection and Prevention, Malware Detection and Prevention, Network Detection and Response, Endpoint Detection and Response

• Experience with VMware products and ecosystem is a plus

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong team member and able to participate in and lead cross-functional initiatives

• Experience in dynamic environments with overlapping projects/deliverables

• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills

This is an on-site, office-based position in Palo Alto, CA

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $141,000 - $225,000 

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
