Your future role within QRT

We are seeking a pragmatic and commercially oriented Technology Operations and Program Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology and a keen interest in solving business problems. This role is crucial for overseeing the operations and programs that ensure the reliability and performance of our systems, meeting the high standards required in the financial industry. 

What you will do:

• Oversee and manage technology operations to ensure system reliability and performance
• Develop and implement technology programs that align with business objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system reliability and performance
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation
• Ensure security and compliance standards are met
• Provide technical support and guidance to other teams
• Manage and mentor a team of technology professionals
• Liaise between business and technology teams to ensure alignment and effective communication
• Work closely with stakeholders across trading desks, risk, and operations to understand their needs and ensure technology solutions meet business requirements

Requirements

• Proven experience in technology operations and program management
• Strong understanding of system architecture and cloud technologies
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Commercially oriented mindset with a focus on business outcomes
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise between business and technology teams
• Prior experience in the finance industry is preferred but not required
