As CSC's global technology footprint continues to grow, this leader will work with business and technology leadership to ensure the right support processes, standards, and policies are in place to keep our critical applications online. This leader will work with a matrixed set of employees, vendors, and partners to provide leading support services in a transparent and performance-driven manner, as well as improve employee talent, commitment, and team morale.
At CSC, technical managers establish and maintain an environment where the smartest, most productive, and fun to work with software professionals are motivated to do their best work. You would be part of a globally distributed Scrum team and collaborate daily to deliver value to CSC's customers. In this position, you will oversee all technical matters for this application. You will work collaboratively with the product management and development teams. Technology Managers at CSC understand that the ultimate measure of success is how delighted our customers are!
This individual will have a diversified background of technical infrastructure experience, demonstrated project management acumen, excellent vendor management skills, plus a superior, service-oriented approach and a strong customer focus.
Some of the things you'll be doing:

  • Develop and maintain Strategic level planning and implementation for this area of responsibility. This may include but not limited to strategic department planning, strategic platform planning, new technology implementation/integration, reacting to regulatory or audit requirements, and continuous process improvements.
  • Work collaboratively with IT leadership across Business Units and Shared Services organizations to ensure smooth project and deliverable handoffs between teams.
  • Lead team and be an escalation point for tracking incidents, managing stories, defects, and backlog using Scrum best practices.
  • Actively manage vendors and drive strategic engagement and partnership, where appropriate.
  • Drive Company Records team from the technology side and communicate successes, risks, opportunities, and issues. Balance strategy with operational needs based on project requirements.
  • Manage and drive priorities, projects, schedules, resources, issues and risks effectively.
  • Hire, develop, and build "best in class" staff to deliver solutions and services that exceed stated standards.
  • Follow and promote quality best practices from all sides of software engineering and platform operations.
  • Provide effective leadership in support of the IT organization including resourcing, budget, structure, and policies and procedures.
  • Create an environment that values employees and encourages cooperation, open communication, and teamwork.
  • Serve as a role model by demonstrating a commitment to company values, high-performance standards, workplace diversity, and driving results.
  • Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time
  • Track technology costs and contribute to annual budget planning


What technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of technology leadership experience.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of recent experience with Scrum Agile/Kanban
  • Minimum of five (5) years leading others in a supervisory capacity
  • Proven experience with Registered Agent business preferred
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service through understanding the impact of services and delivering a highly reliable service that meets customers' needs and expectations.
  • Direct management of cross-functional, sourced, or matrixed teams.
  • Proven experience managing and delivering multiple, concurrent and complex workstreams with aggressive timelines
  • Strong process management, negotiating, influencing, and problem-resolution skills.
  • Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment, while tactfully partnering with Product and Market.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess customer/client needs, creatively approach solutions, and decide and influence appropriate courses of action.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas in easy-to-understand business terms.
  • Ability to accomplish results through others, particularly by establishing relationships, effective controls, and leading projects and deliverables between teams
