Purpose Statement: The Technology Manager will be a technical contributor to the team, who will drive to develop market sector business and execute industry-leading programs for global customers. In this role, the Technology Manager will be an integral member of the market sector Engineering team, work with customers, Plexus business development and product development engineering to achieve significant gains in the market sector business and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Serve as a market sector technology, applications and product development subject matter expert.
- Contribute to the definition of the strategy for the market sector business, including internal initiatives and external activities – focusing on the technology and market sector specific elements.
- Inform customer concept and technology selection along with development, and aid Plexus’ product development engineering services and manufacturing to comprehensively understand client’s needs.
- Assist internal teams in the creation of compelling and customer-aligned project proposals.
- Monitor, understand and effectively communicate market sector market needs and trends. Support the execution of internal market sector projects.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree required with 6 or more years of related experience preferred.
