Job Type: Internship
Internship Period: Up to 6 months

Role Overview

Join our Finance team as an intern and gain hands-on experience in financial data validation, contract review, and provision postings. This role provides exposure to MFRS 16 compliance, asset retirement obligations, and deposit management. You will also collaborate with end users, perform ad hoc financial analyses, and strengthen your technical skills in accounting systems and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • MFRS 16 Data Validation: Verify tenancy contract details through vouching to ensure accurate recognition and compliance.

  • Provision Review: Review deposit and inventory ageing reports to determine required provisions for legalization and obsolescence.

  • Provision & Obligation Postings: Perform monthly postings for legalization provisions and asset retirement obligations.

  • Deposit Follow-Up: Liaise with end users to ensure timely refunds of overdue deposits

  • Financial Analysis Support: Assist with ad hoc financial analyses and reporting as required.

    Preferred Skills/Qualifications

    • Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Accounting or a related field.

    • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage; strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

    • Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.

    • Strong accuracy and thoroughness in reviewing financial data and preparing reports.
