Within Finance, our Technology Business Management team is a dynamic group responsible for all aspects of financial reporting and analysis for the Technology organization. This includes financial control, forecasting and budgeting, and the analysis of financial/business metrics. The team also delivers monthly and quarterly management reports, develops new reporting capabilities, enhances and maintains the chargeback/allocation model, and identifies opportunities for efficiency.

What you’ll do

As a specialist on the Technology Business Management team, you will be involved in all aspects of financial planning and analysis for Technology. Specifically, you will:

  • Be a key member of Technology’s financial planning process, which includes annual budget, forecasting, month end close & financial reporting, and capital reporting
  • Drive continuous process improvement, standardization, simplification and reporting enhancements
  • Develop and maintain financial models and tools designed to efficiently and accurately forecast expenditures, operational performance and evaluate strategic opportunities and decision making
  • Interact with technology leaders to deliver financial information and insights in a concise and relevant manner to support effective decision-making
  • Help drive transparency through enhancing the existing allocation/chargeback process and assist in the creation and management of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models
  • Establish and maintain relationships with business partners and serve as a key point of contact for finance guidance and related discussions
  • Proactively communicate business implications observed from models, analysis, and contribute ideas and solutions to help mitigate potential challenges
  • Create and present analytical findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner to drive action plans
  • Manage ad-hoc requests to support the strategic goals of the business

What’s required

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, operations research, statistics, or related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills with experience in accounting fundamentals and financial reporting
  • The ability to efficiently model and analyze sizeable amounts of data
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial results and recommendations to Senior Management
  • Excellent attention to detail with a process-oriented approach
  • Sound Excel skills to help enhance and streamline current processes
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards
  • Experience with Apptio product suite

The annual base salary range for this role is $200,000-$240,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
