Join our dynamic Corporate Investment Bank team as a Technology Business Management Associate, supporting the Payments Technology organization in LATAM. This pivotal role within the Product and Technology Business Management division involves overseeing financial performance, managing headcount, and collaborating with various teams to ensure strategic alignment and operational excellence.
This role reports to the Product and Technology Business Manager Lead and requires expertise in technology expense categorization, project financials, and headcount management. Effective communication with technology, finance, and product teams is essential for success.
Job responsibilities

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and expense control to ensure the financial health of the unit.
  • Oversee headcount planning, including new hires and replacements, in collaboration with relevant teams.
  • Partner with the Vendor Management team to handle contract renewals, invoice control, and active contract management.
  • Work with the delivery organization to monitor resource allocation and ensure alignment with investment benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with the PMO to ensure clear, accurate, and timely communication with senior management.
  • Report on adherence to the technology roadmap and ensure official tools are updated in collaboration with the investment governance team.
  • Compile, analyze, and enhance various reporting deliverables to support the Business Management Team.
  • Aggregate and deliver routine monthly reports from various systems across CIB.
  • Enhance existing reports to streamline month-end analytics and reporting processes.
  • Maintain database information in MS Excel, ensuring consistency and accuracy amidst changing needs.
  • Provide proactive analytics and insights to support cost containment and delivery excellence.
  • Support resource planning, tracking, and insights for the technology organization.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Management Team to approve headcount and requisition requests.
  • Assist in analyzing performance versus plan and financial forecasting.
  • Partner with the Program Delivery team to track insights from Investment Proposal (IP) delivery efficacy.
  • Develop and enhance monthly PowerPoint presentations for the Merchant Services Senior Leadership Team, summarizing division status.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in a technology environment.
  • Proficiency in financial management, analysis, and reporting.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, including pivot tables, financial formulas, and macros.
  • Experience in project accounting, financial reporting, and technology allocations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders globally.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to articulate complex issues concisely.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain flexibility between detailed analysis and broader strategic insights.


Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Knowledge of automation tools/programming languages (e.g., Alteryx, Python) and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik).
