Senior Associate - Business Analysis - LATAM Payments (TDD - Transformation Design & Delivery)
Job Description
J.P. Morgan is seeking for an Senior Associate for LATAM Payments, to work at Transformation Design & Delivery (TDD) department in São Paulo/Brazil.
The successful candidates will be involved in initiatives focused on accelerating payments business grown through Treasury Services innovation and capacity increasing.
There will be significant exposure & visibility to senior management. This role is ideal for highly motivated individuals with advanced problem solving, strong technical analysis and communications skills.
Job responsibilities
The role will require working with stakeholders across the Corporate and Investment Banking, looking to leverage best practice across the industry and other J.P. Morgan business units. Lateral contacts in business, technology, operations, product and client facing organizations firm wide would need to be developed and mined for best practices and for driving outcomes.
The professional on this position will be responsible for:
- Represent LATAM Operations requirements into several project's squads in payment products, focused on Real Time Payments, Liquidity and Account Services, Automation.
- Coordinating and formalizing in a didactic way, the Operational Requirements derived from projects and new products in a partnership with Products, Operations, and Technology teams
- Liaise effectively between lines of business with empathy and understanding to achieve the common and strategic goal as a team Collaboratively contributes to program updates
- Coordinate testing planning: defining testing scope and UAT completion strategy helping the team achieve the goals
- Coordinate Implementation plan from Operations Perspective
- Maintain stakeholders updated in relation to the project's status and next steps
- Prepare senior management presentations highlighting progress against milestones, risks, issues, and any barriers requiring escalation.
- The position will be based in São Paulo Office
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Deep understanding of payments and collections platforms and operational processing systems
- Extensive familiarity and experience to lead with people, understanding operational requirements, be able to criticize and suggest solutions aiming to optimize the operational process aligned with the business interests.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to differing audiences in multiple regions, strong communication skills in English to negotiate internal priorities among the project's stakeholders in Latin America
- Capability to create documents containing business and functional requirements, creating diagrams of current and future flows from Operation's perspective
- Strong Time management and organization skills
- Familiarity with Agile concepts and project management concepts
- Partner with Product, Operations, and Technology to identify barriers preventing efficient change deliverables
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in Payments Business required (preferred knowledge in LATAM products as this role will provide coverage to Latin America region)
- Fluent in English, Spanish skills are also required
- Outstanding ability to communicate effectively and confidently (oral and written)
- Strong Organization skills
- Bachelor's degree in Technology, Finance, Business or related areas - required.
- Project Methodology Qualification is required
- Agile methodology skills - preferred
- Knowledge in Operations for Payments products is desired
