About this opportunity
We are seeking a strong Technical Architect to drive software architecture, technology choices, and software engineering alignment across Service Delivery. As part of the Architecture & Technology Board, this role ensures consistent, scalable, and high-quality solution design, enabling engineering teams to build robust, reusable, and production-ready systems.
What you will do:
  • Define and drive software architecture patterns, design standards, and best practices
  • Lead design of scalable, resilient, and secure systems
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture guardrails
  • Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and tools
  • Drive standardization and reuse across applications and platforms
  • Avoid fragmentation by ensuring consistent technology choices
  • Guide Service Engineering teams on solution design, coding practices, and architecture patterns
  • Support teams in building cloud-native, microservices-based, and API-driven solutions
  • Enable adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, and modern development practices
  • Participate in Architecture Forum to review and approve solution designs
  • Ensure adherence to non-functional requirements (scalability, performance, security, reliability)
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks and design gaps
  • Propose architecture alternatives/roadmaps and promote reuse of architectural building blocks.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects and AI Architect for aligned solutioning
  • Work across teams to leverage existing platforms, components, and frameworks
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, stay abreast of evolving practices, and drive adoption of coding standards, modern IDE/tooling, and code quality pipelines (static analysis, code reviews, automated testing) to ensure maintainable, high-quality software.
  • Support PoCs and evaluation of new technology capabilities

The skills you bring:
  • Strong experience in software architecture and system design
  • Deep knowledge of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
  • Hands-on background in programming (Java/Python)
  • Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP)
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Expertise in design patterns, integration patterns, and application security
  • Experience ensuring non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, resilience)
  • Ability to guide engineering teams and influence design decisions
  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration skills

Good to have: Experience in event-driven architectures and streaming platforms, Knowledge of enterprise integration platforms and middleware, exposure to AI/ML-based applications and integration patterns, Certifications in Cloud, Kubernetes, or Architecture frameworks. Telecom domain knowledge.

Skills Required

  • Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar streaming platforms
  • Design scalable, resilient, secure, cloud-native solutions and microservices architectures
  • Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), service mesh, API gateways, caching strategies, circuit breakers, and rate-limiting
  • Experience with SonarQube, static code analysis, automated quality pipelines, and engineering governance practices
  • Drive adoption of DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews and modern software engineering practices
  • Exposure to AI/ML-enabled applications and enterprise integration platforms
  • Telecom domain experience
  • Relevant certifications such as AWS or Azure Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or TOGAF
  • Participate in architecture reviews, identify technical risks and mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards
