Job Description The Reloads Tribe is seeking a Solution Architect to design resilient, high-performance systems that support airtime reloads, top-ups, and credit/loan solutions at scale.
You will play a key role in shaping the architecture of real-time
financial services that millions of subscribers depend on daily.
Weʼre looking for an architect who brings strong engineering discipline, DevOps maturity, and hands-on experience in building scalable and automated systems using modern cloud technologies.

Your Day in the Life at your Role

🛠 Design & Develop reliable, secure, and scalable solutions for replenishment and loan services within the prepaid ecosystem. Translate complex business needs into well-architected systems using microservices and event-driven patterns.
👥 Lead the design and implementation, and oversee end-to-end cloud-native solutions using AWS and GCP.
🤝 Collaborate with squads to implement DevOps practices—including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and full automation.
🔍 Perform architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and tribe-level strategies.
💡 Guide and ensure optimal data modeling and storage using both NoSQL MongoDB and relational databases PostgreSQL.

What You Bring to the Table

Core Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 15 years of total experience and with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Solutions Architecture.

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with prior background in software engineering or system integration roles.

• Deep understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD, IaC (Infrastructure as Code), and environment automation.

• Familiarity with airtime reloads, credit, and loan transaction flows or similar telco financial services.

• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proficient in GoLang, or comfortable working with teams using Go for backend services.

• Solid understanding of modern system design, database modeling, and integration architectures.

Preferred Tech Stack & Tools

• Cloud Platforms: AWS and GCP

• Databases: Relational (PostgreSQL), NoSQL (MongoDB)

• Programming: GoLang (preferred)

• DevOps & Automation: CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation), GitOps approaches
